Mypolonga has once again made the long list of towns eligible for South Australia’s agricultural town of the year award.

The award recognises South Australian towns that are excelling in agricultural practices and the flow-on effect they have on communities.

A total of 73 towns have been nominated, including Mannum, Karoonda, Strathalbyn and Meningie.

The the top 10 towns to get the most public votes will move to the next stage, where judges will make visits to decide on a winner.

Voting entries for towns to make it to the top 10 are due by June 27.

Mypolonga previously won the award in 2022 for its diverse agriculture industry.

The town also made the long list in 2020 and was named a finalist in 2021.
