Captain Jared Marston was pleased that his side had finished the season with a good game of cricket.
âHonestly, we put in the work throughout the whole year,â he said.
âEveryone says that, but I know that we have.
âThe best players have rocked up every weekend, weâve had good numbers, everyoneâs made themselves available, we gave ourselves our best opportunity to play at home â what more do you want?â

Aside from losing the coin toss â he would have loved to bat first â Mypo had done everything right during the grand final, he said.
The Black Capsâ wickets fell thick and fast, as they reached a score of 32 before losing 10/50.
Wrigley and Keynan Harradine each picked up three scalps for the Tigers, while Aaron Zrim put the pressure on with six maidens.
âThere werenât many runs today, but Brady coming in and smacking up 40 there, thereâs no better way to chase a total than to get it easy,â Marston said.
