Warner Health and Wellbeing Centre has its official opening
An allied health centre in Murray Bridge’s west is the latest offering from the award-winning Murray Mallee Aged Care Group.
This story is brought to you by Resthaven, sponsors of the 2025 Murraylands Business Awards.
A new allied health centre in Murray Bridge’s west represents the Murray Mallee Aged Care Group’s latest effort to provide care with a community heart.
Located across the road from retirement living facility Warner Close, the Warner Health and Wellness Centre will provide podiatry, physiotherapy, nursing, GP, occupational therapy and hairdressing services for the Murray Bridge community.
While it will not be completely operational for a little while yet, the facility had an official opening on Friday.
Group CEO Anna Howard spoke about its importance to the organisation and the broader community.
“Health and wellness is more than just treating illness, it’s about prevention, connection, independence and dignity,” she said.
“It’s about supporting people to live well physically, mentally and socially at every stage of life.
“Access to health care should not be defined by a postcode, which unfortunately sometimes still occurs.”
The project had been fully funded by the Murray Mallee Aged Care Group, Ms Howard noted, freeing it from the strings that might otherwise have been attached by funding partners.
The centre would provide an opportunity to address the often complex health needs of all community members, regardless of age.

Architect and designer Adam Beauchamp from AB Design Studio and builder Tony Siciliano worked closely with the group’s board, staff and clinicians to turn the original residential property into a medical clinic.
The property was gutted to create individual consultation rooms, a modern kitchen and reception area, and an undercover wellness garden at the rear of the property.
Its interior design is modern and calming, allowing clients and staff to be comfortable while on the premises.

Physio Stephan Trinkle said he had moved his family from Mildura to be a part of the new centre.

He specialises in men’s health, particularly in the areas of pelvic, knee, hip and continence support, welcome expertise that is not readily available in the region.
Like all the other medical professionals who have joined this centre, Mr Trinkle’s skills will be available to anyone in the community.

Murray Mallee Aged Care was formed in 1994 when a group of locals recognised a desperate need for specialised in-home services for older people in the rural and remote parts of the region.
More recently, the company has branched into delivering services to the Adelaide metropolitan area; however, its head office remains in Murray Bridge.
