Murray Bridge woman, stolen car involved in serious crash on South Eastern Freeway
Plus police arrest two men for child exploitation and nab an allegedly disqualified driver.
Emergency services have attended the South Eastern Freeway at Monarto South where a woman crashed a red Mercedes Benz on Friday morning.
The driver, a 29-year-old Murray Bridge woman, left the road and crashed into a tree on the median strip at around 7.15am.
The woman was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre with life-threatening injuries.
Police suspected that the car may have been stolen in Murray Bridge early in the morning.
An investigation is ongoing.
For motorists heading citybound, traffic was down to one lane until 1.30pm.

Pair arrested for child exploitation
Meanwhile, two men will face court in Murray Bridge after being arrested for possessing child exploitation material on Monday.
The arrests at a home in the Murray Mallee were made after an investigation by detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team, a collaboration between SA and federal police.
Officers allegedly found child exploitation material on devices belonging to each of the two men, aged 50 and 25.
Both were granted bail ahead of a court appearance on June 7.

Driver will face court
Finally, a Murray Bridge man will face the local magistrates court after being pulled over for a random breath test on Long Island Road on Saturday.
His breath test was fine – but a background check revealed that the 45-year-old had been disqualified from driving.
