Murray Bridge Speedway announces 2023-24 season race dates
From the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship to the ever-popular demolition derby, here’s your guide to the upcoming speedway season.
Murray Bridge Speedway has announced its upcoming race dates for the 2023-24 season.
In total, a massive program of 23 nights of racing have been planned along with two practice days, which will kick things off in just a few weeks’ time.
As previously announced, the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship SA will return this season, with the series taking place across an exciting five nights of racing.
Sprintcars will also feature as part of the traditional Sprintcars Speedweek post-Christmas double header on December 26 and 27, plus the $20,000 Sprintcars 60-Lapper on the March long weekend in 2024.

Wingless sprints will also feature in their own mammoth 60-lap race on March 10, with the final of their SA series another one to watch on April 13.
On the back of the success of last year’s event, the super sedans will again contest a unique 42-lap feature for the Cowland 42 on March 16, which is expected to again attract a first-class field of super sedan drivers to Murray Bridge.
The Australasian Speedcar Championship will also return on the Easter weekend; it, too is expected to attract the best drivers from right around the country.
The mighty midgets will also feature in the re-launch of Pro Speedcar Week in a mid-week show on January 3.
Modified sedans enjoyed a resurgence at the venue last season; Murray Bridge will host rounds of their SA series on October 1 and February 3.
Several state championships will also be decided at Murray Bridge Speedway, with the AMCA nationals on November 4, V6 sprints on February 3, speedcars on March 23 and junior sedans on April 13.
The action-packed and crowd favourite demolition derby will have three race dates on October 1, January 3 and March 31.
Tickets for the opening night double-header on September 30 and October 1 will go on sale at the end of the month at www.speedwaytickets.com.au.
A live-streaming service will again be available exclusively through Clay-Per-View.
