Murray Bridge News is moving to 30 Seventh Street
Three months after opening a new office, we’re moving around the corner – here’s why.
Murray Bridge News will move to a new office at 5/30 Seventh Street at the end of this week.
Yes, already.
Three months after we opened an office on Sixth Street, Murray Bridge, our landlords notified us that they planned to have some work done on the heritage-listed building we have been renting.
To that end, they asked us to vacate the space – permanently.
So, this Friday, my colleague Viki and I will load up a sack truck and wheel our stuff around the corner to a new office.
From Monday of next week, Murray Bridge News will be located up above Raptcha’u and Murray Sales, in an office occupied until recently by Connolly Wilson Conveyancing.
We do not anticipate any major interruptions to your independent local news service as a result of the move – we’ll still be out and about, telling the stories that matter to you, while we settle in.
You’ll still be welcome to pop in any time for a cuppa and a chat at the new location; and if stairs are a problem, we’ll come down to you.
Importantly, we still plan to continue our growth, too – in fact, we’ll be seeking applications for an advertising sales role in the coming months.
Feel free to send us your resume if you think you might be interested.
If you’re a business owner or manager, your advertising support can help us connect, empower and uplift the local community; and we can help you reach thousands of highly engaged readers each week.

In the meantime, it might take us a little while to put up signage and settle into our new digs around the corner, so please bear with us.
It would be fair to say that this development has been a curve ball for Murray Bridge News, but that’s the beauty of being a small, locally-owned business – we can pivot as circumstances require us to.
See you on Seventh Street.
