The Adelaide Road GP clinic has acquired a neighbouring property and revealed big dreams for the future.

A Murray Bridge GP clinic is on the verge of a much-needed expansion.
The owners of Murray Bridge Medical Centre have purchased the property next door to the Adelaide Road clinic.
The investment will pave the way for an expansion of the centre’s existing footprint, and – subject to development approval – more consulting spaces, treatment areas, staff facilities and parking.
Practice manager Wendy Ziersch describes the milestone as significant, and many years in the making.
“The purchase has always been part of our long-term vision to ensure we can continue to meet the health care needs of our growing community,” she says.
“As Murray Bridge continues to expand, so too does the demand for accessible, high-quality general practice services.
“Securing this adjoining property allows us to plan confidently for the future rather than simply react to increasing demand.”
Over the coming weeks, Murray Bridge Medical Centre’s leadership will work with SA-based architect Nick Salvati and builder Anthony Rinaldi to develop a plan for the expanded facility.
No decision has yet been made about whether the stone home at 33 Adelaide Road will be retained as part of the design.
In the meantime, Wendy thanks everyone whose dedication and commitment have contributed to making the practice what it is today.

Murray Bridge Medical Centre was originally founded in 2015 as Murray Bridge Day and Night Surgery.
