Two service clubs, a volunteer organisation and a community agency in Murray Bridge have combined to make the festive season merrier in 2021.

Christmas will be a little tastier for a few needy residents of Murray Bridge thanks to the generosity of two local service clubs.

The Murray Bridge branch of Meals on Wheels sincerely thanked the Lions Club of Murray Bridge on Monday for their generous donation of delicious Christmas cakes for clients and volunteers.

The delivery of cake to clients will occur on Friday, December 24, just in time for Christmas.

The Lions Club has donated cakes for the past 17 years.

Murray Bridge City Lions Secretary, Ann Kinloch donating 10 large Christmas Cakes to AC Care, Melissa Miller for inclusion in their Christmas Hampers.

Meanwhile, Murray Bridge City Lions have donated 10 more Christmas cakes to community agency AC Care, for inclusion in hampers which will be distributed to some of their clients.
