Lee Prestwood wins Murray Bridge News’ subscriber giveaway for November 2023
The local government expert has been a paying subscriber since the beginning.
When Murray Bridge News began offering paid subscriptions in May 2020, Lee Prestwood was one of the first to jump on board.
Even since moving out of the Murray Bridge district, though, she has kept up her subscription so she can keep in touch with what’s happening locally.
“I love my subscription to Murray Bridge News,” she said.
“It keeps me up to date with all the local news.”

Her loyalty paid off in November when she was selected at random as the winner of Murray Bridge News’ monthly subscriber giveaway.
Her prize, valued at $148, included movie tickets courtesy of the Capri Theatre, DVDs from KT Promotions, and Murray Bridge merchandise.
This month’s prize, available to anyone who becomes a paid subscriber before 10am this Thursday, December 21, is even bigger and better.
More importantly, though, choosing to support Murray Bridge News means helping us connect, empower and uplift local people.
It helps us tell important local stories like this one about the state of Murray Bridge’s Sturt Reserve playground; advocate for Christmas carol organisers as they search for funding; cover community events and meetings after hours and on weekends; and unearth stories you simply won’t find anywhere else.
It goes to a business that is 100 per cent locally owned and operated – and it’s only seven bucks a month.
Murray Bridge News is grateful for your support.
