Have your say on the next four years of the Coorong region
It's time for the residents of the Coorong District Council to have their say on the future plan for their district.

With new homes and residents on the way, the Coorong District Council are calling on everyone who calls the community home, to help develop its next vision plan.
Planning is more important than ever with an anticipated 2,449 new residents and 1,000 new homes by 2037.
The next community vision plan 2026–30 will be a roadmap that guides the council’s decisions, budgets and projects over the next four years.
Coorong District council’s mayor Paul Simmons strongly encourages residents to share their feedback
“This is our residents’ chance to influence the future of our district," he said.
"We want to hear your ideas, your concerns, and your aspirations.
"Together, we’ll build a plan that reflects our community’s values and ambitions.
“Let’s plan for a future where our community continues to thrive - where lifestyle, housing, jobs, and services meet the needs of all ages and stages of life," Mayor Simmons said.
The Community Vision Plan will help ensure growth is well-managed and sustainable, enhancing liveability, strengthening local communities, and keeping infrastructure and services in step with future needs.
