The public have helped to locate large quantities of missing copper wire in a Murray Bridge residential property.
Police have been able to locate a large quantity of missing copper wire thanks to information provided by the public.
Around 8.50pm last Thursday police found and seized substantial copper wire from a Murray Bridge home which is suspected to have been stolen from numerous sites around the Murray Bridge area.
A 34-year-old man was charged with unlawful possession and faced the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Friday.

Senior suspended speedster loses sedan
A 60-year-old man has had his Mercedes impounded for 28 days after speeding on the Dukes Highway over the weekend.
Around 4pm on Saturday police recorded the sedan travelling at 135km/h just outside of Tintinara, 25km/h over the speed limit.
The driver from Thebarton was also currently suspended from driving on medical grounds.
SA Police Sergeant Paul Watts said the drivers behaviour put other road users at risk.
"The selfish and irresponsible driving behaviour of this man, who was suspended from driving on medical grounds, increased the risk of a serious injury crash or fatality,” he said.
