Forty-year-old man dies after Brinkley crash
A Lake Plains man taken to hospital after a collision on Monday has succumbed to his injuries.
A 40-year-old man has died after a single-vehicle crash at Brinkley on Monday morning.
The man from Lake Plains, near Milang, crashed his Toyota ute into a tree around 6.30am.
He was the only person in the vehicle, and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Brinkley Road was closed throughout Monday morning while emergency services and major crash investigators attended the scene.
The man died in hospital on Tuesday night.

The crash was at least the eighth serious one on Brinkley Road since 2020, according to Department for Infrastructure and Transport data.
Three other people had already died on the road during that period, including a cyclist hit by a car in 2021, and two motorcyclists who ran off the road in 2020.
