Watch out for speed cameras in the Murraylands this week
Plus police investigate a break-in at Murray Bridge North School.
If you choose to speed in the Murraylands this week, donāt be surprised if you get caught.
Police have announced they will be all over the region during the first two weeks of November.
Locations to be monitored will include Adelaide Road, Long Island Road, Maurice Road, Monash Terrace, Standen Street and Swanport Road in Murray Bridge; and Granites Road and Railway Terrace at Tailem Bend.
The highways will also be a focus point:
- Dukes Highway: Tailem Bend, Coomandook, Ki Ki, Coonalpyn
- Mallee Highway: Lameroo, Pinnaroo
- Old Princes Highway: Monarto, Monarto South, Murray Bridge East
- Princes Highway: Tailem Bend, Ashville, Meningie
- South Eastern Freeway: Monarto South
Fines for speeding in South Australia range from $183 for drivers who travel at up to nine kilometres per hour faster than the signed limit, all the way up to $1722 for exceeding the speed limit by 45km/h or more.

North school broken into
Meanwhile, police are investigating a break-in at Murray Bridge North School a little over a week ago.
An alarm went off at the school at 11.25pm on Saturday, October 30.
When police arrived they found a building had been broken into and a set of keys stolen.
