Watch out for speed cameras in the Murraylands this week

SA Police will be monitoring drivers’ speed around the Murraylands this Thursday, July 30.
Locations where speed cameras will be posted include:
- Callington: East Terrace
- Mannum: Adelaide Road, Berryman Avenue
- Monteith: Princes Highway
- Murray Bridge: Adelaide Road, Gray Street, Maurice Road, Mulgundawah Road, Swanport Road
- Murray Bridge East: Karoonda Highway, Mitchell Avenue
- Palmer: Reedy Creek Road
Speeding doubles the risk of a crash, according to police.
Penalties for speeding, even by less than 10 kilometres per hour, start at a $215 fine and two demerit points.

Two Murray Bridge businesses broken into
Meanwhile, police are investigating two break-ins at businesses in Murray Bridge.
Alloy wheels and tyres were stolen from a business on Eleanor Terrace sometime between July 17 and this Tuesday.
Three fridges and a gas bottle were taken from another business on Bremer Road between last Friday and this Monday.

Driver reported for minor offence
Finally, Murray Mallee traffic police have reported a Murray Bridge man for allegedly driving while disqualified.
The 39-year-old was pulled over, allegedly while driving an Audi, on Jeffrey Crescent around 1.15pm on Friday.
Officers impounded his car for 28 days and told him to expect a court summons.
