University of the Third Age seeks new members online
The Murraylands learning and leisure organisation for over-50s has a new website.
The Murraylands’ University of the Third Age has entered a new, well, age.
With the stroke of a key on Monday, watched by former mayors Toni Robinson and Allan Arbon, the organisation’s new website went live.
Jill Sullivan hoped it would help the organisation connect with prospective members: people over the age of 50 with an interest in learning and leisure.
“Members and prospective members will have access to all the information they need to know about U3A to be able to join, and to learn all about the different courses we have on offer,” she said.
The site was designed to be un-cluttered and easy to navigate for computer or smartphone users who were still gaining confidence.
U3A members participate in everything from IT classes to crafts, indoor bowls, genealogy, ukulele playing, card games and book clubs
