The students and staff at Tyndale Christian School will soon have an upgraded outdoor learning area which hopes to improve educational outcomes.

The $740,000 project will be delivered with support of government funding through the Capital Grants program.

The new facility upgrade will allow classes to be conducted outdoors year-round,
supporting physical activity and whole-school events regardless of weather
conditions.

Construction of the arena is expected to commence in July 2026, with completion anticipated in 2027.

Senator Marielle Smith said it's set to benefit the not only the students currently at Tyndale, but those who will follow in future years.

“The teachers, staff and students at Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge have built a strong and positive school community and these new facilities will further enhance the local educational opportunities,” Senator Smith said.

“Our Government strongly believes in providing the best possible resources so that students can realise their potential and develop the skills they need to go on to further study or to find a job.”

“I congratulate Tyndale Christian School on their successful grant application and look forward to seeing the positive impact these new facilities will have on the school community.”

Once completed, the arena will serve as a versatile hub for sports programs and collaborative learning.

Tom Cowell, Principal of Tyndale Christian School, said the project will make a meaningful difference to both teaching and student wellbeing.
