Two people hospitalised after house fire at White Hill

The fire occurred on Saturday night around 7.30pm with a neighbour screaming for someone to call the fire brigade.

Two people have been rushed to hospital after escaping a house fire on Old Princes Highway in White Hill on Saturday night.

The call for help was received around 7.30pm, with a neighbour reportedly screaming for the fire brigade.

Six Country Fire Service units, including a bulk water carrier, with support from the Metropolitan Fire Service, SA Ambulance Service and SA Police, discovered the house and shed fully alight.

Damage was estimated at $150,000 with the house believed to be destroyed.

Investigators said the cause of the fire had not been determined.
