Things to do in the Murraylands: October 17-23, 2025
Your guide to every event happening in Murray Bridge and surrounds this week, thanks to Spry Holdings.

Thousands of people will be in Murray Bridge this Sunday for one of the biggest events of the year, but you might not know about it unless you mix in the right circles.
The eighth annual Punjabi Virasat Cultural Mela will bring together South Australia’s Punjabi community for a celebration timed to coincide with Diwali, the Hindu and Sikh festival of lights.
But you don’t have to be Indian or Pakistani to appreciate free food, bhangra music and gidha dance; or to enjoy watching the fierce competition of the annual tug of war.
Head along to Murray Bridge Racing Club on Sunday and take a look.
This weekly feature is brought to you by Spry Holdings – supporting locals is our priority.
