Safari Squad - Wild About Winter: 9.30am - 3.30pm at Monarto Safari Park, Monarto. Join us for a day exploring the park, discovering the animals, taking part in conservation-based activities, and learning about what our keepers do. Our Educators will guide the Safari Squad in the creation of animal enrichment and children will get to go behind-the-scenes to hopefully see some of the animals that may be harder to find. They'll work on activities to build conservation awareness, and with weather permitting, engage in outdoor activities at our bush camp. Nitro Nat's Supreme States of Matter: 11am - 12noon at Murray Bridge Performing Arts & Function Centre, 13 Bridge Street, Murray Bridge. Using liquid nitrogen, we journey through how cooling different materials changes them. We'll explore solids, liquids and gasses and even plasma in the form of fire. We will be smashing, crushing and making a salad using our super cool liquid (its cool cause its very cold). Let's see what happens to lettuce when it meets nitrogen. Blue Light Skills Workshop: 9.30am - 2.30pm at The Square, 2 South Terrace, Murray Bridge. If you're aged 10 - 17, join our three part skills workshop in groups of 6 people per section on a round robin basis. Skills include cooking a 3-course meal, boxing fitness and games session plus art/construction. Everyone gets to eat the 3-course meal for lunch.
