Things to do in Murray Bridge: October 22-28, 2021

What do you get when you cross Queen B, Jay-Z and Tailem Bend Rotary?

Find out this Sunday afternoon when the 2021 Tailem Bend Music Hall, Crazy in Love, makes its debut.

It has been a rocky road to this point, with the usual August production postponed for the first time in four decades thanks to COVID-related uncertainty.

But director Sandy Przibilla was determined not to let it slip away – after all, “we almost had the show ready to go (when) the last lockdown came in”.

The dedicated cast and musicians ran through their individual parts at home in the interim, and came back together as a group a few weeks ago to get rid of any rust.

All they need now is bums on seats for this Sunday’s matinee, and for the Friday and Saturday night performances which will follow in a little over a week.
