Things to do in Murray Bridge: November 5-11, 2021
Your guide to Murray Bridge Marketplace's 10th birthday, a mental health expo, Sufferfest, a business breakfast and much more.
Can you believe it has been 10 years since Murray Bridge Marketplace opened?
The shopping centre development was a bit of a turning point for our city, transforming as it did the quiet RSL bowling greens into a massive shopping complex the equal of any in suburban or regional South Australia.
Yes, there are still a few empty spaces for lease, but between that and the Green we can be sure Murray Bridge's retail needs will be covered for years yet.
Anyway, there'll be celebrations this weekend, with charities and community groups on Friday, retailers on Saturday and family fun on Sunday.
And, as you'll see, an unbelievable number of things are happening elsewhere around the Murraylands this week, too – I count 31 events over the next seven days.
If you know anyone who needs the low-down on what's happening locally, be sure to share this, the most comprehensive local events guide you'll find.
