Christmas in the Murraylands will start with a bang this weekend at the popular family event, the Kookaburra Homes Murray Bridge Riverfront Christmas Festival.
The festivities begin on Friday at 5pm at Sturt Reserve.
On Saturday, the awesome Thomas Foods International Christmas Parade starts at 4pm in Bridge Street, following a blue line into Seventh Street, onto Mary Terrace, then towards the riverfront along Murray Cods Drive.
Glorious fireworks will take place along the riverbank from 9pm for the Spry Civil Construction Sky Show.
There will be road closures during the event, as Father Christmas does a great job but still needs a clear road to do his thing.
