The OTR Supersprint will get the biggest spotlight in the Murraylands this weekend, and fair enough.

But let’s quickly touch on a major achievement by a local community group.

For the first time, Murray Bridge Players and Singers has sold every ticket to every show in Mamma Mia’s three-week run before the curtain has even gone up.

That’s something like 2300 tickets.

After going without for so long, I guess the people were happy to see some live theatre again.

I’ll take a moment here to point out the significance of this week’s Imps v Ramblers footy match, too – it’s the 90th anniversary of both clubs this year.

But yes, if the Supercars are your thing, click here to find out what’s going on where and when, both at tonight’s street party on Railway Terrace and at The Bend Motorsport Park over the next three days.
