A relaxing weekend seems to be on the agenda for Murray Bridge and surrounding communities.

From a Golden Oldies lunch hosted in Tailem Bend, to an art exhibition opening in Murray Bridge.

Perhaps you may find yourself in Mannum on Sunday to enjoy the monthly market along the river.

Garden Corner: 10am-11am at Bunnings, Maurice Road, Murray Bridge. Join our monthly workshop for all things gardening, indoor plants and more. Have fun learning from our expert horticulturalists. Drifting SA State Championships Rd 2: 9am-5pm at The Bend Motorsport Park, Dukes Highway, Tailem Bend. Practice from 9am, racing from 12 noon. Drifting SA is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit club dedicated to growing drifting in South Australia. For more information visit www.driftingsa.com.au.

Three Echoes - Western Desert Art: from 10am at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery, Sixth Strett, Murray Bridge. This exhibition showcases Australian Aboriginal art spanning the first 30 years of the Western Desert art movement, with works from 57 artists, curated by Djon Mundine OAM FAHA. Runs until August 3.

Cars and Coffee: 8am-10am at the Wharf Precinct, Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge. This month it's station wagons that get priority parking, all makes and models. Bring your car, grab a coffee and an egg and bacon roll. Look at a great selection of cars. Family friendly. Dog friendly. Bikes also welcome.

Mannum Markets: 9am-2pm at Arnold Park, Randell Street, next to Mannum Visitor Centre. Come and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere -sip on a hot coffee, stroll through the market, and discover hidden gems at the stalls. Whether you're after handmade crafts, something for a present or just a good chat, there's something for everyone.

Murray Bridge Trail of Creativity: 10am-2pm at 110 Hill Street, 7 Homburg Drive, 10 and 12 Janice Street, 6 Lorraine Street, 32 McHenry Street, 116 Mulgundawah Road, 102 Old Princes Highway, 8 Ritter Street and 20 Waterlily Terrace. Show your support for local hobbyists and their hobbies by purchasing greeting cards, jewellery, crocheted items, 3D printed items and more.
