Reconciliation Week begins this Friday and to celebrate, all are welcome to the annual Walk or Run for Reconciliation on Sunday.
Although winter will soon be upon us, we can still expect an exciting weekend of racing.
This Saturday, Trades Day will be held at Murray Bridge Racecourse, and on Saturday night, Roll Racing at the Bend.
Also, if youâre a woman from Murray Bridge with a story to tell, Cynthia Scherstik will be conducting research at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery from Thursday through to Saturday.
The stories will inspire a mural called My Name to be displayed in August.

My Name: Cynthia Schwertsik research residency: from Thurs 26 -Sat 28 at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery. Artist Cynthia Schwertsik is researching and exploring stories about women in Murray Bridge, both current and historical. The stories will help create a mural called My Name, which will be on display in the  gallery this August. Ngarrindjeri Ruwe - National Reconciliation Week exhibition opening: 10:30am-12:30pm at Coorong Gallery, Tailem Bend. The exhibition is a collaborative effort, celebrating Ngarrindjeri artists in the Murray region through the display of their diverse works. Walk or Run for Reconciliation: 8:30am registrations for a 9am start at Sturt Reserve. National Reconciliation Week is on from May 27 â June 3, and this yearâs theme is Be Brave. Make Change. Juniors, aged 16 and under, will have a 3km distance, while seniors, aged 17 and up, will have a distance of 5km. Hosted by Murraylands Deadly Fun Run Committee, there will be breakfast and prizes on offer, and entry is free for all.
Jervois Cricket Club AGM: 1pm at the Jervois Combined Sporting Club.

Murray Bridge council meeting: 6pm live stream on the Rural City of Murray Bridge YouTube Channel. At the meeting, the community will be able to have their say on the 2022-3 Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget. All written submissions regarding the draft Annual Business Plan and Budget will be presented and discussed at the meeting. Infant and Child First Aid: 6pm-7:15pm at Centacare, 1A/2 Sturt Reserve Road, Murray Bridge. Hosted by Communities for Children, the session will be led by an SA Ambulance Officer and focus on topics such as general first aid on infants, allergy reactions, CPR and more.
