Things to do in Murray Bridge: March 4-10, 2022
Your guide to a jam-packed weekend: the Australian Wingless Sprints Championship, Magic Millions, Mannum Show, Murray Bridge Fringe and more.
You’ll have no excuse to stay home this weekend.
Saturday will be one of the biggest days of the year for both Murray Bridge Racing Club and Murray Bridge Speedway, with the Magic Millions coming to one and the Australian Wingless Sprints Championship to the other.
More than $650,000 worth of prize money will be up for grabs across nine races at Gifford Hill on Saturday, but just as interesting to watch will be a one-off pony race in collaboration with Pony Club Australia.
Over at the speedway, the roar of engines will ring out on Friday and Saturday nights as the nation’s best drivers vie for the title in wingless sprint cars, including defending champion Kyle Mock.
Add to that the Murray Towns cricket grand final at Mypo, the last weekend of Murray Bridge Fringe, Mannum Show and even a state championships at Murray Bridge Skate Park and you’ve got all the ingredients for a busy one.
