Refugee Week is from June 18 to 24, and to celebrate Australia’s magnificent melting pot of different cultures, the Murray Bridge council and the Murraylands Migrant Resource Centre invite all and sundry to the All Culture Fest 2023 this Saturday.

This year’s free event will be from 2-4pm at Murray Bridge Town Hall and will feature performances that showcase the vibrant cultures in our community, including Nigerian songs by Mobolaji Olaitan Akinbo, dances from Kiribati, an immigration story from Faris Al-Hilli, opera singer Camilla Pescetta, a tai chi sword dance and a performance on the Chinese guzheng.

There will also be a citizenship ceremony and the national anthem, so start warming up your voices – in fact, just warm up in general at the moment.
