Things to do in Murray Bridge: July 16 - 22
It's a wet week ahead but there's still plenty happening around the Murraylands including burying some underwear.

The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board is taking the expression ‘soiled your undies’ very literally.
They are encouraging people to sign up to bury two pairs of 100% cotton underpants for two months to help learn about soil health.
According to Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator Aliza Rieger, placing some undies under ground is a great way to learn about different soil types.
“Burying cotton undies is an easy way to compare the biological activity in different soil types, at numerous locations on the farm, in various crop types, in garden beds, under a variety of watering regimes or even in different environments,” Ms Rieger said.
After two months you can send your undies back and receive advice on how you can improve your local soil health and function.
“At the end of the two months, if there’s not much left of the buried undies, you have a lot of healthy biological activity in your soil. These same soil organisms can break down plant materials in a similar way.”
Why not register to get your undies sent to you on Monday July 19.
