Stormy weather has delayed the Tailem Bend Christmas parade and street party, but the wait for this Saturday afternoon has only increased people’s excitement.

It’s a fun way to wind down at year’s end, with street music, market and food stalls and a parade of colourful cars and characters.

The kids will love it, with free entertainment, the Wonderland and Santa.

Here’s a run-down of that and everything else going on over the Christmas and new year period.
