After 40 years of entertaining the community, Tailem Bend Music Hall is in its final act, with its last two shows this Friday and Saturday night at 7.30pm in the Tailem Bend Town Hall.

Apart from giving the community fun and joy since 1983, Tailem Bend Music Hall has also given local people the chance to gain confidence, express themselves and feel a part of something bigger.

So, don’t miss your last opportunity to see the magical Tailem Bend Music Hall in a show that will include a variety of performers and will make for a great night out.

SANFL Neil Kerley memorial lunch/match: 12.15pm–1.45 pm for lunch/2.10pm for the match at Johnstone Park, Murray Bridge. To honour the late ‘king’ of SA footy, the West Adelaide Football Club will host a match between themselves and the Adelaide crows, the two clubs Kerley was heavily involved with throughout his career. The teams will be playing for the Neil Kerley Memorial Trophy. Tickets can be purchased at westadelaidefc.com.au or at the gate.

Federation Ultra Trail – the Kinchina edition: 7.30am–5pm at Monarto Safari Park. The sixth annual Federation Ultra Trail run crosses the Lavender/Federation Trail from Monarto Safari Park. Due to flood damage and bridge works, this year’s run will finish in Kinchina Conservation Park. All short (10km), mid-course (24km) and ultra course (55km) runners and all relay members will have access to Monarto Safari Park’s walking trails that allow glimpses of meerkats, giraffe, bison, chimpanzees, lions and rhinos. This free six-session parenting program is for parents of primary school children. You can help your child develop emotional intelligence. Children with higher emotional intelligence have greater success with making and keeping friends, concentrate better at school, are more able to calm down when upset or angry and tend to have few childhood illnesses. The OTR Supersprint returns to the Bend Motorsport Park this August, and a street party will kick things off. There’ll be Supercar driver appearances, autograph sessions, race and road car displays and more. Bring your friends and family.
