The weird and wacky Wally has just received the opportunity of a lifetime and been offered the job of his dreams…. a game show host! River Murray football and netball: Mypolonga v Southern Mallee at Mypolonga Memorial Oval; Imperials v Jervois at Johnstone Park, Murray Bridge; Tailem Bend v Coorong at Jaensch Park, Tailem Bend; Mallee Districts v Mannum at Peake Oval.

Strike me pink day: 9am-5pm at Serenity Garden Centre. Fundraiser for breast care nurses through the McGrath Foundation; prizes for best dressed in pink, raffle and more.

Australian Lions Hearing Dogs open day: 10am-2pm at the national training centre, Verdun. Join us for a jam-packed day of hearing dogs, medical alert dogs, puppies, demonstrations, food, coffee, guided tours, raffles and lots of activities for the kids; free fun day for the whole family.

Track championship final: Gates 5pm, racing from 6pm at Murray Bridge Speedway. Final night of speedway for the 2023-24 season featuring AMCAs’ SA title, street stocks, junior sedans, V6 sprints, modlites and wingless sprints. Tickets: $25 at www.speedwaytickets.com.au.

4WD adventure park come and try: 10am-1pm at the Bend Motorsport Park, Tailem Bend. Put your skills and your four-wheel drive to the test; whether you’re a novice or a pro, this park has courses of varying difficulty and is sure to provide you with a fun experience; spectators welcome. Tailem Bend Anzac Day service: 6am at the Railway Terrace memorial. Followed by a gunfire breakfast at Tailem Bend RSL.
