Thieving trespassers caught at White Hill
Plus local man stabbed in Adelaide's CBD, traffic offender caught and weekend speed camera locations.
A 34-year-old Langhorne Creek man and 19-year-old Murray Bridge woman have been arrested for allegedly breaking into a shipping container and shed at White Hill on Sunday.
At 10.50am, the owners of a rural property discovered a vehicle and a man and woman allegedly attempting to break into a shed.
The owners noticed a generator had been removed along with a box of toys from the container.
They quickly blocked the driveway to prevent the suspects from leaving and called police.
The pair were arrested and have been charged with serious criminal trespass and theft; they will appear before the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court.
Murray Bridge man stabbed in Adelaide CBD
In the early morning hours of June 2, emergency services were called to a hotel on Morphett Street in Adelaide after reports of an assault.
Three males were found all with stab wounds, including a 31-year-old Murray Bridge man, who suffered a laceration to his head and wounds to his abdomen.
All three men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing, but it is believed the people involved were all known to each other and this was not a random incident.
Long-weekend traffic offender caught
Just after 1am on Monday, a 27-year-old Murray Bridge man was stopped in a blue Mazda on Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge.
Police checks revealed the driver was allegedly driving while disqualified; car checks also allegedly located small amounts of cannabis and methamphetamine.
The man was arrested and charged with drug possession and driving while disqualified.
