Retailers, you won’t want to miss Business Murray Bridge’s next breakfast event.
Come along to the Bridgeport Hotel next Wednesday, November 2, to learn about the latest trends in theft prevention.
Senior Constable David Brown, from SA Police’s Murray Mallee crime prevention branch, will speak about how to make your business secure.
He will also touch on rural property security and how to report a theft.
Jim Corbett, who manages security across more than 60 Drakes supermarkets nationwide, will share examples of the methods used by thieves and what his company does to stop them.
He’ll give smaller business owners an idea of the warning signs to watch out for.
The breakfast event will also feature a quick presentation by Amanda Bridge of Shop Local SA, an organisation which can help retailers set up their own online stores on a virtual main street of local businesses.
As always, guests at the breakfast will enjoy a hot meal and still be able to steal away – pun intended – in time to start work by 9am.
