Tailem Bend ferry will temporarily close for repairs
The River Murray crossing will close for several hours next week.
The Tailem Bend-Jervois ferry will be closed for seven hours next Tuesday, December 3, from 9.30am to 4pm.
The disruption is due to a replacement of the upstream and downstream cables as part of the Department for Infrastructure and Transport's cable replacement program.
Alternative crossings for motorists will be either upstream via the Swanport Bridge or downstream via the Wellington ferry.
The department thanked ferry users for their patience.
