Tailem Bend ferry will close for repairs next Tuesday
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport will be doing some work on the River Murray ferry.
The Tailem Bend-Jervois ferry will be closed for four hours next Tuesday, October 17.
The state Department for Infrastructure and Transport announced on Wednesday that the ferry would shut between 10am and 2pm, weather permitting, while engineers replaced the cables that guided it across the River Murray.
The nearest alternative crossings will be the Swanport Bridge and the Wellington ferry.
The department thanked motorists for their patience.
