For almost three years, the Murraylands’ independent local news service has only been available online.

Until now.

This December, Murray Bridge News will publish a special souvenir print edition, featuring some of our most popular and ground-breaking stories from throughout the year.

Free copies will be made available at retail outlets throughout Murray Bridge and surrounding communities.

A range of advertising opportunities will be available in the one-off print edition.

Local businesses may take the opportunity to:

  • promote a product or service
  • thank clients or staff by wishing them a merry Christmas or happy new year
  • let the community know about a New Year’s Eve celebration, holiday activity or what’s coming up in 2023

The souvenir edition will be printed by staff at The Courier, in Mount Barker.

In a quirk of history, prior to 1934, the same newspaper used to publish a regular column featuring news from around the Murraylands.

The name of that column?

Murray Bridge News.

  • Place an advertisement in Murray Bridge News’ souvenir print edition: Contact Jane Intini on 0418 835 768 or at jane@murraybridge.news. Advertising copy, artwork and stories must be finalised prior to 5pm on Friday, December 2.
