Murray Cods Swimming Club has wrapped up its 2025-26 season with a presentation night.
Club captain Ella Davy humbly thanked volunteers, parents and swimmers for their part in a successful season.
"As captain, I’ve really tried to be someone who supports and encourages everyone, whether that’s at training, at carnivals, or even just in the small moments in between," she said.
"It’s not just about representing the club, but also helping others grow, improve, and feel more confident in themselves, which is something I’ve really valued being a part of this season."
The club qualified two representatives at the recent SA Country Short Course Championships.
Davy was also the only club member to qualify in the recent age-group state titles.

Tim Kelly dominates at Murray Bridge Golf Club
Tim Kelly had seen his handicap blow out recently to a generous 15 but he was always going to strike back hard one day and last Saturday was that day.
Getting his act together he carved out a masterly 5 up to easily win the days Par competition and begin his journey on the road back to "A" grade soon one suspects.
Scores on the day weren't particularly brilliant as the "C" grade had two of the better scores recorded.
Dirk Jesussek and Johnny Hadden had a real tussle with Jesussek edging his way to victory on a countback as both players carded strong 3 ups.
Hadden lamented afterwards that he was born unlucky and that he never wins a countback.
Jesussek simply remarked that he should tell someone who cares.
Tyre king Michael Vella was thinking of going back to work to pump out a few wheel alignments after the front nine because his game was certainly out of balance being a disastrous 6 down.
Make that 7 down after then mucking up the tenth hole!
"Soldier on" insisted playing partner Terry Marsh who wanted his dollar at the end of the round so Vella did just that and suddenly struck form with six wins and two halves on the last eight holes to leave his group gobsmacked.
In fact so good did he suddenly play he started taking the mickey and almost eagled the 18th hole when having a one foot tap in for birdie.
A 5 up back nine won him the days Pro comp and plenty of admiration from all who saw his great play.
Craig Owens won the Yabby for nearest the pin on the par three 14th but, oddly, no eagles were scored on the day which is unusual for a Par competition with the tee blocks forward a bit.
Lots of Stroke days coming up soon with the club championships approaching so this Saturday sees a chance for players to enjoy a relaxing Stableford round in advance of that.
