Police are searching for an electric tool which was stolen from a parked vehicle in Murray Bridge last week.
The Radiodetection RD7100 cable and pipe locator, worth several thousand dollars, was taken from a vehicle on Dankie Road, in the Newbridge estate, sometime between 6pm on Thursday and 10am on Friday.
Anyone with information about the theft should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at www.crimestopperssa.com.au, anonymously if necessary, and quote case number 48683.
Unlicensed driver nabbed
Meanwhile, police have arrested a Murray Bridge man for allegedly driving while unlicensed and failing to stop for them.
Officers allegedly spotted the 28-year-old behind the wheel on Kintore Avenue on Sunday.
They intercepted him at his home, laid the charges and granted him bail ahead of an appearance at the local court on March 30.
