Motorbike stolen on Lohmann Street

Have you seen this motorbike?

The black 2006 Zongshen, a 200cc model with registration YZF 935, was stolen from a home on Lohmann Street, Murray Bridge sometime between 4am and 2pm on Monday.

The thief had to cut a chain to access the bike, and – since it was not in working condition – would have had to wheel it away.

Anyone with information on the theft, or the motorbike’s whereabouts, should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at www.crimestopperssa.com.au.

Done for drink driving

Meanwhile, just one driver has fallen foul of Murray Bridge police over the weekend.

A local 52-year-old man allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.162, or a bit over three times the legal limit, after being breath tested on Myall Avenue around 2am on Sunday.

Officers reported him for drink driving, suspended his licence for 12 months on the spot, and impounded his car for 28 days.

He will answer the charge at Murray Bridge Magistrates Court.
