Solar lights stolen from Adelaide Road linear park
Police are investigating the thefts of lights and a motorbike in Murray Bridge, and caught an alleged drink driver over the weekend.
Who would steal a solar-powered light from a public park?
Well, someone has – in fact, they’ve taken five of them from the Adelaide Road linear park in Murray Bridge.
They were removed from their bollards sometime last Thursday or Friday.
SA Police are investigating.

Motorbike stolen on Lohmann Street
Have you seen this motorbike?
The black 2006 Zongshen, a 200cc model with registration YZF 935, was stolen from a home on Lohmann Street, Murray Bridge sometime between 4am and 2pm on Monday.
The thief had to cut a chain to access the bike, and – since it was not in working condition – would have had to wheel it away.

Done for drink driving
Meanwhile, just one driver has fallen foul of Murray Bridge police over the weekend.
A local 52-year-old man allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.162, or a bit over three times the legal limit, after being breath tested on Myall Avenue around 2am on Sunday.
Officers reported him for drink driving, suspended his licence for 12 months on the spot, and impounded his car for 28 days.
He will answer the charge at Murray Bridge Magistrates Court.
