On Friday March 13 a crowd gathered at the Coroong Gallery for the opening of their newest exhibition, Structures and Buildings of the Coorong.
The exhibition was curated by the Tailem Bend Historians Association and features a collection of photographs and sketches of the structures and buildings in our Coorong area.
Elizabeth Nicholls, a member of the Tailem Bend Historians said the exhibition was in the making for two years.
"Most of the photos have been sourced from the extensive historians collections."
The exhibition is a photographic snapshot of the region, she said.
It's also a wonderful reminder of the importance of preserving our historical landmarks for future generations.
- Exhibition dates: Open from 14 March until 30 April 2025.
