The Murraylands Winter Ball has attracted a capacity crowd to the Tailem Bend Town Hall on Saturday, with dancers from across South Australia gathering for an unforgettable evening of ballroom dancing, music and friendship.
The popular annual event celebrated the timeless tradition of social dancing, bringing together people of all ages for a night filled with elegance, laughter and community spirit.
The evening showcased a wonderful mix of traditional ballroom and old-time dances, with couples gliding gracefully across the dance floor to classic tunes.
Waltzes, foxtrots, quicksteps and other favourite dances kept the floor busy throughout the night, while beautifully decorated surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere encouraged everyone – from experienced dancers to newcomers – to join in the fun.
Immaculately dressed guests added to the occasion, with sparkling gowns, stylish suits and polished shoes creating a truly glamorous scene.

The popularity of the event was evident long before the music began.
Streets surrounding the town hall were lined with parked cars as visitors travelled from near and far to attend.
Inside, the hall buzzed with conversation and excitement as friends reunited, new friendships were formed and generations shared the dance floor together.
Young adults danced alongside seasoned ballroom enthusiasts, highlighting the broad appeal of this cherished community event.
Organisers were delighted with the outstanding attendance and the positive response from guests, many of whom described the evening as one of the highlights of the winter social calendar.
