As many as 3000 people or more are estimated to have attended a winter festival in Murray Bridge over the weekend.
They packed Diamond Park and Edwards Square for Murray Bridge Glows, watching performances, buying hot foot or light-up toys, dancing in a silent disco, trying carriage rides or stargazing, or simply warming up by the fire.
“Seeing more than 3000 people fill Diamond Park and Edwards Square was fantastic – it was our biggest crowd for the event on record,” Murray Bridge Mayor Wayne Thorley said.
“It was wonderful to see our local families, friends and visitors enjoying the entertainment and activities and making the most of everything Glows had to offer.”
It was the fourth year for the council-run festival, launched as Murray River Glows in 2023.
