Homemakers and passers-by have descended on 133 Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge for the opening of Kookaburra Homes’ new display centre.
The local building company had previously operated a centre similar to the new “design HQ” – where families could choose fixtures and fittings for their new homes – at its factory on Brinkley Road.
Members of Murray Bridge Rotary Club were on hand to cook bacon and eggs, a face-painter kept children excited and staff made coffees for the event on Saturday.
An official opening will follow in a fortnight’s time.
