Artists and art lovers have attended the opening of Bridge Arts’ 2024 SALA Festival exhibition, What Will Be, at Murray Bridge Marketplace.
Members of the local artists’ collective are showing works of all kinds in a vacant space at the shopping centre between now and this Sunday, August 18.
All of the paintings, sculptures, cards and knick-knacks are for sale, too.
Arts development officer Michelle Dohnt, who opened the exhibition on Friday night, described Bridge Arts as a “remarkable” group which contributed much to the community.
“While being an artist can be a tough gig, many artists do it not only for the love of making work, but also for the social benefits it brings – and the sales are an added bonus,” she said.
“If you’re in a position to put your hands in your pocket, don’t miss the opportunity to invest in one of these great artworks.”
