Sleeping driver arrested on Rocky Gully Road

The Monarto South crash is not the first incident police have dealt with on the Murraylands’ roads this week.

At 6.50am on Sunday, Murray Bridge police were called out to Rocky Gully Road, where they reportedly found a 47-year-old man asleep in a red Mazda sedan which had left the road and crashed.

They breath tested him and he allegedly blew 0.15, three times the legal blood alcohol limit.

He was reported and disqualified from driving for 12 months on the spot.
