Red Cross volunteers sew a quilt for reconciliation
Members of the organisation's Murray Bridge branch have had a look at the finished work to which they contributed.

Murray Bridge’s Red Cross branch had its annual general meeting on Wednesday, June 16.
Rose Rhodes, chair of the Red Cross’ South Australian division, attended with community activation officer Manomica de Mel.
They brought with them a reconciliation quilt.
It was the result of branches each being given a square of material to paint, work or draw a picture or design on, telling a story of reconciliation.
Squares were returned to Red Cross in Adelaide, sewn together and quilted to create an interesting piece of work displaying the thoughts of many people.
The Murray Bridge branch is still active.
Its meetings are held at the city’s croquet club on the third Wednesday of each month at 2pm.
