Police seize drugs and gun at Brinkley
SA Police have arrested a ban after allegedly finding cannabis plants and a rifle at his rural property.
Police have charged a Brinkley man with drug and firearms offences after visiting his property on Australia Day.
Officers went to see the 35-year-old man around 9pm after being tipped off about an allegedly unregistered gun in his possession.
They searched his property and confiscated a .22 rifle, ammunition and three cannabis plants.
The man was denied bail and faced a preliminary hearing at Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday, on charges of possessing the firearm and insecure ammo, cultivating cannabis and possessing prescribed drug equipment.
