Police recover jewellery box from Murray Bridge man
Plus officers look for a stolen BMX bike and disqualify a local driver after a drug test.

Mount Barker police recovered it from a Murray Bridge man who they pulled over on the South Eastern Freeway on Saturday.
Officers originally fined the 42-year-old for speeding, after allegedly detecting his Subaru going at 146 kilometres per hour in the 110 zone.
However, they wound up searching his car and finding the jewellery box, which contained jewellery and collectible bank notes.

BMX stolen on Adelaide Road
Meanwhile, police are looking for a BMX that was stolen from outside a fast food restaurant on Adelaide Road, Murray Bridge on Tuesday morning.
The grey Merida bike with wide handlebars, a drink bottle holder, a white LKA sticker on the back of the seat and other modifications was taken around 10.15am.

Woman disqualified for drug driving
Finally, traffic police have banned a 32-year-old woman from driving for six months after she refused a roadside drug test.
They pulled her over on Mannum Road, Murray Bridge North around 10.45am on Sunday.
Officers impounded her car and she will face Murray Bridge Magistrates’ Court.
