Chapman Bore fire deemed suspicious
Plus police make seven arrests around the Murraylands after a series of drug raids, and two more on Murray Bridge's roads.
Police are seeking information from the public about a fire which destroyed a house and shedding at Chapman Bore last week.
Smoke was seen coming from the property on Chapman Bore Road, just south of the Karoonda Highway, soon after 3pm on Friday.
However, police believe the fire occurred overnight on Thursday, or early on Friday morning, and that it was deliberately lit.
A house, shearing shed, storage shed and everything inside them were completely destroyed.

Seven arrested, cannabis seized in drug operation
Meanwhile, police have arrested seven people, reported nine more and seized illicit drugs during a series of raids in the Murraylands.
Operation Paladin brought together Murray Mallee officers and their colleagues from SA Police’s dog squad, mounted police, traffic, licensing enforcement and state operations branches last Thursday and Friday.
They descended on licensed premises, checking on liquor licensing and road safety, and also visited registered gun owners to make sure they were complying with regulations.
Officers made seven arrests, reported another nine people and issued 19 fines for offences including drug trafficking, cannabis growing and driving while under the influence.
They seized almost two kilograms of cannabis, a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Officers also set up a drug education stall at Murray Bridge Marketplace during the same period.

Two arrested, one reported for traffic offences
Finally, Murray Bridge police have made two arrests for traffic offences over the weekend:
- A 33-year-old Murray Bridge man, for allegedly driving while unlicensed, breaching a driver direction notice and breaching his bail on Friday
- A 29-year-old Mannum man, for allegedly driving while unlicensed and possessing a prohibited weapon on Saturday
They also reported a 58-year-old Mypolonga woman for drink driving on Saturday after she allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.073.
All three will face court at dates yet to be determined.
