Police investigate suspected hit-and-run in Murray Bridge
Plus two people have been hurt in a crash on Mannum Road.
Police are investigating after a seriously injured man was found on a Murray Bridge roadside early on Sunday morning.
The 29-year-old local man was found on Lachlan Avenue, in the city’s south, at 3.50am.
Officers believed he may have been the victim of a hit-and-run crash.
The man was taken to the Murray Bridge hospital, then transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where he was in a stable condition.

Two hurt in crash at Murray Bridge North
Meanwhile, two people were hurt in a serious crash at the intersection of Mannum Road and Reedy Creek Road, Murray Bridge North last Wednesday.
Three cars collided at the T-junction just before 5pm: a Suzuki sedan, a Mazda sedan and a Mitsubishi ute.
The driver of the Suzuki, a 74-year-old man, had the worst of it – he was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The 33-year-old man behind the wheel of the ute was taken to the same hospital for precautionary scans, while a 25-year-old was not hurt.
